For over 50 years, Emerge has been providing consistent Christian-based counseling from a team of trained and fully-licensed mental health therapists and psychologists.
It is our privilege to serve hundreds of ministers, missionaries, and church leaders and thousands of men, women, and children from all walks of life in their journey towards finding rest and living free in Christ.

Provide Christ-centered counseling
- We will continue providing soul care support for pastors, church leaders, and people in need of all generations.
Engage new opportunities that are opening
- Ohio and Pennsylvania sites established.
- Missouri and Michigan sites in discussion.
- New MinistryCare Program offering soul care support for people in ministry nationwide and internationally.
Implement tools & technology to grow telehealth
- We will equip our team with innovative resources to continue expanding telehealth.
- New legislation will allow counseling across state lines (28 states so far)

Needs + Opportunities
As Emerge enters its sixth decade of Christ-centered mental health ministry, we face a season of unprecedented needs and opportunities in the lives of those we serve. These include the fact that:
- The statistical rise in mental health struggles has produced a “loneliness epidemic” recognized recently by the Surgeon General that is taking the lives of many and causing multiplied conflicted mental health issues.
- Anxiety and depression have increased significantly in the past few years, especially among younger generations.
- Technological developments and new state legislation is paving the way for a growing national presence in counseling, opening new avenues to provide Christian counseling support.

In order to engage these ministry opportunities boldly, Emerge is grateful for a growing group of partners committed to help us move forward. This initiative is called “Emerge Forward” and the group of churches, leaders, and organizations who comprise it stand in support of this ministry at various levels of financial support.
Our top donors decided last year to double their contribution and to help us contact other churches, groups, and individuals to be a part of this key support. In the past two years, more of our partners have stepped up to contribute to Emerge, several of them deciding to move their giving to the next level.
